Support our mission with a donation or by becoming a member today! We receive a lot of requests, and it may take a while for us to get back to you.Southern Nevada Conservancy creates opportunities to discover, understand, and enjoy your public lands. If you’d like to show your work at Red Rock, please fill out the form. If you sell your work for more than $200, you may consider Red Rock a fun way to expose your work to a new audience rather than a sales opportunity. We don’t do any of the work of sales here, and we don’t ask for a percentage of any sales, but you’re always welcome to make a donation. Art on our walls usually sells for about $100-200 per piece. We have to turn a lot of these submissions down. Also, we receive a lot submissions from nature photographers, and so tend to prefer some of the more unique pieces. We like to keep it family-friendly, so no nudity please. If you’re a visual artist, we want to show your art! We show collage, paintings, and photography. Drummers, seriously consider using hot rods, bundles, or brushes. Red Rock is a small venue, and you will sound best if you play to the room. We also do not allow drinking (band included) on the premises. In the meantime, the Red Rock Open Mic might be the perfect venue for your development! If you and your band are still working on the basics-playing in tune, making it through a song without stopping-keep practicing, and we will be happy to book you when you’re ready. We maintain a minimum standard for the quality of our musicians. Our mission is to bring exposure to original music in the Bay Area. ![]() We expect that you will provide us with a poster PDF, as well as do any outside promotion. The cafe closes at 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and if the band does not end on time, it creates a hardship for the staff who need to clean up.Īside from our website, social media, and in-store signage, Red Rock Coffee will not promote your show. ![]() If your band plays heavier music, your style may be better suited to a club or concert hall. Heavier styles of music like Metal and Punk Rock are not appropriate for our venue. Not everyone’s music is a good fit for Red Rock Coffee. A solo singer-songwriter may have to really work to grab the room you might play against Meet-Ups, first dates, or programmers who did not expect to have a musician on 2nd floor. Jazz bands and acoustic-oriented bands tend to do best here. If you would like to play at Red Rock, your band must be able to provide its own amplification and sound engineering. We do not take a cut of the merchandise sales.Īt this point, we do not have a dedicated staff for sound engineering or ticketing. We also allow musicians to run a merchandise table and mailing list sign-up. We allow tip jars, and musicians often make good money from them, but we do not pay musicians. The majority of our shows are free admission. If you’re an artist or band who is interested in performing live at Red Rock, please read this page first, and then contact our booking manager. The following information will give you an idea of what we do when we can get back to it! Please note: During this COVID shut down, we cannot take any bookings. ![]()
